Simpson Food Pantry is a non-profit providing food for those in need. We believe no one should go hungry, so if you need food, please come by our location during open hours. We are located in the Whittier neighborhood of Minneapolis, MN. Please stop by during our open hours!
Getting enough food to eat is a problem for over 15% of US Households, up to 23% of households with children facing food insecurity. Our goal is to provide quality groceries during our open hours.
Simpson Food Pantry works with various food group providers, food rescue groups, brown bag teams, sandwich making groups and food donations to provide quality perishable and non-perishables to our guests.

Our volunteers go to the different Food Rescue groups very early on Tuesday mornings. This way, they are able to hand pick quality product that we know our guest will like so we virtually have no waste. We never know what’s on the truck, so we like to call it “Farmers Market Tuesday.

Located in the Whittier neighborhood of South Minneapolis, we have NO service area restrictions.
We ask that you contact the office directly before delivering your food donations. Because of parking restraints around our location, we will make arrangements so your able to park close to one of our entrances. We can also get a team to assist with unloading.
We love having volunteers in the food pantry! We ask that you volunteer during our open hours. If you have a group, we ask that you contact the office to arrange another date and time.

We are always grateful for our volunteers who like to greet our guests. Assist our guest with requests, Rotate, stock and clean shelves. Assist our guest up and down our stairs and to their cars. We also need volunteers on Tuesday for our Food Rescue Program.
